Obituary for Sara Lou Becker

Sara L. Becker, 83, of Archers Fork, OH passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. She was born on March 18, 1935 to Amanda and Charles Raymond Westbrook.
She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1953. She was a member of Mount Hope Church of Christ and a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and gardening.
On May 15, 1955 she married Ernest "Ray" Becker who survives with one daughter, Kristina (Jeff) Lauer of Marietta; two sons, Ernest of Cleveland and Jeffrey (Melanie) of Reno. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Amanda (Don) Thomas, William Lauer and Wesley, Tim and Mandalyn Ludtman. She also enjoyed her two great-grandchildren, Krissy and Nick Thomas. She is survived by one brother, Delbert (Margaret) Westbrook; sister-in-law, Jerry Westbrook and a brother-in-law, Gale Bartmess.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Becker; parents-in-law Harry and Bessie Becker; brothers, Ralph and Alfred; sisters, Goldie Wagner, Janie Eddy, Lucille Bartmess and a sister-in-law, Alice Corp.
Donations in her memory may be made to Little Muskingum and Newport Fire Departments. The family requests no flowers.
Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street is assisting with arrangements and private family services will be held with burial at Eddy's Ridge Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Marietta Health Special Care and Hospice for their love and compassion shown in her final days.
