Christena Marie Springer, 50, of Marietta died Friday February 1, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on May 10, 1962 in Marietta the daughter of George R. and Judith M. Springer.
She participated in the special olympics winning three gold medals in swimming.
She is survived by her parents of New Matamoras, Ohio and two brothers Adam Springer (Dianna) of Parkersburg, WV. and Troy Springer (Cathy) of New Matamoras, Ohio. Also surviving are six nephews and nieces and three great nephews and nieces.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Hadley Funeral Home in New Matamoras, Ohio is in charge of the arrangements
