Joyce, Harry, Danyelle, and family, So sorry for your loss. Know that the loss of his friendship is affecting us all deeper than you can imagine. Friendships like ours are the ones where you didn't have to see each other every day, but when you did, it just picked up where we left off. I know I join with the entire Admiral Merchants Motor Freight family, all of our independent Agents and all of our professional drivers when I say how shocked and sorry I am to learn of Ed's passing. Ed was a professional in every sense of the word. He was a perennial winner of the Terry Bramer Circle of Excellence, the top award for drivers associated with Admiral Merchants. Every freight coordinator at Admiral would place Ed among the top drivers who ever worked with us. Every agent loved to entrust their shipper’s freight to Ed. When they did they could simply count on him. Perhaps that is the best thing we can say about Ed – we could count on him. Count on him to do the little things and the big things as they were supposed to be done. Count on him to be a professional truck driver, to accept loads tendered to him, to pick up those loads on time and with a smile on his face (and in his heart) and to deliver those loads as he had promised. Finally, you could count on Ed to be a friend to everyone who knew him. We have a lot of pictures of Ed around here from our awards banquets over the years. He is smiling in every one. The world is a little sadder on Ed’s passing. I will remember him and his family in my prayers. Brian P. Short President Admiral Merchants Motor Freight, Inc.

Words could never express how sad my heart was when I got word of Ed's passing from Dad an Mom. As a child our families spent many countless hour's together, riding 4-wheelers,playing cards to the wee hrs. of the morning or just talking and Dad and Ed talked alot about their trucks. I said all that to say this, Ed touched many lives in his short 52 years and his smile, jolly laugh and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew him. You are in my prayers Danielle,Harry,Joyce and the rest of the family.
